Privacy Policy

WHAT WE DO

New Vegan Heart does not intentionally target people in the EU as readers of our blog, email list, or subscribers. However, we believe it is our responsibility to take the necessary steps to protect the privacy of our entire readership.

With that, it is our duty to inform you that we have Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter linked to our site in order to share our own content with our followers and allow you seamless access to our content and the ability to share our content on your own social media forums. You can read about each of their privacy policies on their respective sites (linked below).

Additionally, we utilize the tracking tools from Google Analytics, MailChimp, and Square Space.

WHAT WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT

We utilize Google Analytics and Square Space to capture "non-personally identifiable" information about you, such as your broad geographic location (country of origin, state, and/or city), age, gender, method of referral, button clicks, and page views, as a performance measurement tool in order to understand which posts our readers are engaging with and how well any advertisement or sponsorship is performing. We may, at times, share this data, when requested, with third party sources as a means of proving our performance.

When provided by you, we collect and store your email address, name, and phone number via MailChimp. We use this information to respond to inquiries you submit and send you emails about recent blog updates, offers, promotions, etc. We do not and will not sell your information to any third party at any time. Once you have submitted your contact information to NVH, in any capacity, it will be subscribed to our mailing list. You may choose to opt out of our email list at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" button at the bottom of the emails. We will continue to store your information but we will not use it to contact you unless otherwise permitted to do so. Permission can only be granted to NVH by you, by re-subscribing or contacting us directly. You may request that NVH discontinue storing your information by contacting us via email by visiting our contact page and submitting a "general inquiry", as this is a manual process that we will willingly perform, but on a case-by-case basis.

We will occasionally have sponsored advertisements or affiliate marketing links on our site. Sponsored posts are provided by companies that wish to advertise to our readers. These sponsors will typically have their own tracking code that we will add to our site. Affiliate links are special links with embedded codes. The codes track when you click a link and whether or not you make a purchase from that link. We will receive a commission for any sales that are processed from affiliate link clicks. This happens at no cost to you and is a way for the site to earn income and maintain an active status. You can read more about each of our affiliate partners’ privacy policies on their respective sites (linked below).

WHEN WILL WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

If required by law or subpoena, NVH will share your stored personal information with law enforcement or legal representatives in order to comply with all State, Federal, and Local Laws. We will not contact you if this information has been requested of us.
